Shanghai Wonton Noodle Restaurant

We had the pork wonton soup, and the chicken leg noodle soup. It was really really good. It was affordable too- just 19.67 CAD! So impressive! I had a stomach upset which settled after having their wonton soup. So happy.

Just ate here today as we are here for the weekend. The resturant is kind of a hole in the wall. The food… fantastic! If you like soup try this place it was better than good.

I had an excellent experience at Shanghai Wonton Noodle Restaurant in Ottawa. I ordered #13 on the menu and it was absolutely fantastic — the noodles were perfectly cooked, the broth was rich and comforting, and everything tasted fresh and authentic. The portions were generous and the flavours were balanced without being overly salty or heavy.

The service was quick and friendly, and the restaurant had a welcoming, no-frills atmosphere that lets the food speak for itself. If you’re looking for a satisfying, authentic noodle spot in Ottawa, this place is definitely worth visiting. I’ll definitely be back to try more items on the menu. Highly recommend!

I LOVE this place. The wonton soup (I like #4 best) is so comforting and filling, I often find myself craving it. It’s definitely a hole in the wall, but I actually love how quiet and relaxed it is. And it’s so affordable! Can’t beat it 😋

This restaurant wow-ed me. A hard-working couple churning out delicious and cheap comfort dishes. A steady throughput of customers braving -25°C at 8pm on a Sunday night. Decor that can only be described as “no frills”. Love it.

We got the tofu hot-dry noodle with peanut and sesame sauce, the vegetable noodle soup, the pork wonton with peanut sauce and the beef hot-dry noodle with peanut and sesame sauce. All fantastic and huge portions.
