Their tonkotsu ramen is hands down the best I’ve had. The broth is rich, creamy, and full of deep umami flavor, while the noodles have just the right chew. The pork is melt-in-your-mouth tender.

The attention to detail in every bowl is unmatched, and the service is always warm and welcoming. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing a bowl to-go, the quality is consistently top-tier. If you’re craving authentic, flavorful ramen, this is the place to go!

We had a nice dinner here. The ramen was pretty darn good, with tasty pork and silky broth, and satisfied my partner’s craving for ramen well. The portion was exactly right. The zangi fried chicken was delicious, being perfectly between crunchy and chewy. The seaweed salad was decent, but a small portion for the not-insignificant cost of $5.50. The servers were exceptionally polite and helpful with some menu notes and alerting us to some unavailable items, such as specific cuts of pork and clarifying drink types. The ice machine was also not working, which was too bad, as my soda was warmer than I would have liked. The location is inauspicious, and the decor is not inspiring. It’s a good spot to eat, but not exceptional.

I’ve been coming to Santosei Ramen for the past five years, and it has consistently been one of my favorite spots in the city. The fact that I keep returning says everything β€” the quality here never wavers.

The service is always quick, easy, and welcoming. Whether dining in or grabbing takeout, the staff make the experience smooth and enjoyable. Even on busy nights, they keep things moving efficiently without ever sacrificing friendliness.

The food itself is what keeps me coming back. The ramen is consistently delicious, with rich broths, perfectly cooked noodles, and toppings that always taste fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Every bowl has that comforting balance of flavors that makes ramen such a satisfying meal. I’ve tried different menu items over the years, and I’ve never been disappointed β€” it’s clear that they maintain a high standard across everything they serve.

One thing I especially appreciate is how great the ramen holds up as leftovers. The broth tends to β€œsolidify” a bit once it cools, but I’ve found that adding a splash of water when reheating brings it right back to life. It tastes just as good the next day, which is rare for many restaurant dishes.

Overall, Santosei Ramen is reliable, flavorful, and welcoming β€” the kind of place you can always count on for a great meal. After five years of visits, I can confidently say it’s one of the best ramen spots around. Highly recommend!

Quite honestly, I dont know what everyone is raving about. For 25$ after tax and tip, you get 2 small piece of charshu, 1 egg and bowl of noodles. The noodles were a bit “stiff”. The broth seemed too rich or fatty or something…for a Ramen broth. It was not very flavorful either. Waitress was friendly but English was not too good. Atmosphere was small and quaint. Location is awkward for going there the first time. Park in back and walk around the building.

Went here alone on a Tuesday at around 5:30pm. There were not many customers around that time. The staff were really welcoming. They greeted me as soon as I entered the door. I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen with thin noodles. I waited for about 5mins or so and got my food. It was delicious and savory! The staff also came to check on me from time to time to ask if everything was alright or if I needed anything. They also played Japanese songs which I really love! Will definitely be back to try the other ramen!
