Delicious food, fast service, and kind staff. Would definitely come back again.

The restaurant is huge and can accommodate large groups with little to no wait. We’ve dined in twice already and brought some company with us. They loved it just as much as we did.
We like their 20$ lunch menu that offers a principal plate, a soup of the day, and coffee or tea. The plates are massive and can easily be shared between two people. We loved their mushroom soup, seafood fettuccine, steak, and ribs. I think we all agreed we did not like nor enjoy the baked garlic shrimp au gratin. It was too wet and bland to our liking.
The servers were attentive and accommodating.
We would definitely come back and would recommend to friends.

I had such a great experience at La Station in Hull! I ordered the butterfly shrimp rice plate, and it was absolutely delicious — perfectly seasoned, fresh, and beautifully presented. The portion size was generous, leaving me with some tasty leftovers to enjoy later, which is always a bonus.

Even though the restaurant was quite busy when we went, the service was excellent. Gen, in particular, stood out for being so friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm. She checked in just the right amount without ever feeling rushed or intrusive — something I really appreciate, especially on a busy night. It’s clear she cares about her guests’ experience, and that made a big difference.

The atmosphere at La Station is another highlight. The music was at a comfortable level — you could actually have a conversation without shouting, which feels rare these days! The overall vibe is casual yet welcoming, perfect for both a dinner out with friends or a relaxed date night.

From the quality of the food to the attentive service and comfortable environment, La Station really nails it. You can tell they put pride into both their dishes and their hospitality. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu (that shrimp dish set the bar high!).

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a cozy little restaurant with my daughter, and it turned out to be a delightful experience. I ordered the chicken brochette, which was perfectly grilled, tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The seasoning was just right, and the side of rice and vegetables complemented it beautifully.

My daughter chose the classic fish and chips. The fish was golden and crispy on the outside, flaky and moist on the inside. She especially loved the fries, crispy and not too greasy. And the tartar sauce added a nice tangy touch.

The service was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed, making it a great spot for a family meal. We left with full bellies and happy hearts.

You know a restaurant is good when people are lined up outside 10 minutes before the doors open. That was my experience on a Thursday morning at La Station.

Location: very easy to find and access from the street.

Parking: the restaurant has its own parking lot with dozens of spaces.

Aesthetic & Ambience: the restaurant is very new looking and very clean. It’s very open and spacious. There are several TVs on multiple walls for watching sports games. There are tables and booths to choose from and the seats are quite comfortable. The train station theme is not overtly obvious, but there are cool indicators here and there.

Service: the hostess met me and seated me right away. She was very friendly and polite.
My server arrived very quickly with fresh hot coffee, gave me a few minutes to check the menu, and took my order. She came around often enough to keep my coffee hot, which is always very nice. She was friendly and polite.

Food: I had the breakfast burrito and it was very good.

Price: probably the cheapest breakfasts I’ve seen in Gatineau, and the quality was still great.

Washrooms: there are wheelchair accessible washrooms with amenities like change tables. Everything is clean and serviceable.
