Restaurant Bar Le Bateau Marina D’aylmer

An Okay Experience.
Brought my mother and sister for a fun day in Aylmer during Fête du Quebec (Jun 24) few days ago. We happen to bump into this little bar restaurant overlooking Ottawa River. Main reason I gave an ok review was because of the ambience and lovely view of the area. Even though the staff happened to be friendly and helpful, they messed up what I wanted. With very limited French knowledge I asked for a beer but instead they brought me a cooler (which wasn’t bad) but at the cost of $10. At least we got to sit outside and enjoy the view as long as we wanted.
PS: The time we got there the staff didn’t have any food available. Interesting.

Amazing location but unfortunately it is very poorly managed, was told to choose a seat yet half the seats were still dirty from previous costumers and the food is mediocre they charge 23.99 for a burger that has a tomato that’s bigger than the patty

The setting at the marina is wonderful: it’s so nice to watch boats and the sunset while enjoying a drink. Sadly the food was blend, the place is not well maintained and the wasps were vicious. It is a very well situated restaurant, such potential, but management fails to take advantage.

This place is a huge improvement upon the last building set here. They’ve done it right by to renovate. More accessible and welcoming.

The food was delicious, a tad overpriced, but perhaps it’s the expense of the beautiful view. The waiters were kind and charming, and the ambiance was enjoyable. Chosen music was fun – not too overly loud when I was there.

I’d recommend it as a good place to stop to eat by the river.

Waited an hour to be handed this.
$15 for a hamburger patty that look like something you wouldn’t give the dog and on top of that the Patty was cut in half.
It is not hamburger it is Patty you shouldn’t have to pay $15 for cheap Patty’s.
The bun was cold out of the fridge.
Not even warmed up on the grill or anything.
The french fries were out of the box.
You would think an establishment like this would have fresh french fries made from potatoes rate on site.
As you see that was what was left on the plate $15 for that. Never again will I go back there.
You get better food at the local cheap wagons than you do there. Over priced and understaffed
