Pizza Nerds (Old Ottawa South)

Great pizza! We ordered the Bank Mushroom, Queen Elizabeth Goat cheese, and Lisgar House Sausage pizza. We ordered online and it was ready right on time. The pizzas taste very good. Personally I liked the Mushroom one best out of these three. I have 2 peices of feedback. I love the thinness of the pizza, but the crust on the edges is too thick. I would thin that down a bit as it’s too much dough. The second issue is there are not enough toppings on the pizza. Please add more, even if you need to increase the price $3-$5. Otherwise it was very good, thank you 😊.

I tried this place for the first time last night, and I can confidently say I’ll be coming back! The pizza was absolutely phenomenal—possibly the best I’ve had in Ottawa. Every bite was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor.

The service was just as impressive. Cynthia took the time to walk us through a few menu options and answer our questions, which made the experience even more enjoyable. While we ultimately went with the margherita pizza, the other menu items looked incredible and have me planning my next visit already.

My son, daughter, and I all thoroughly enjoyed our meal—it was a hit with everyone! The combination of delicious food, welcoming service, and a cozy atmosphere makes this place a real gem. Keep up the amazing work!

I’m not usually inspired to post reviews, but this pizza was magical. Best pizza I’ve ever had in Ottawa, and probably my life. I’ll confirm when I order again next Friday. Pizza did not so heavy in my stomach. Quality ingredients. Great taste. Had the Perci pepperoni. Would recommend.

First time trying this place last night and I will definitely be back! Aside from being quite possibly the best pizza I have tried in Ottawa, the service was equally as wonderful. Cynthia took the time to explain a few things on the menu, and while we went with the margherita pizza the other menu options left us wanting to visit again and again. THE BEST gluten free pizza I’ve ever had. Even on delivery it was so flavorful. I have missed pizza so much since being diagnosed celiac and this hit the mark. 10/10 no notes. I got the Percy because pepperoni is a good standard unit of measurement for pizza. Holy amaze balls. And for those asking – no reaction, no flair up. I’m so so happy 😍😍

The Queen Elizabeth pizza is divine. I never thought the tomato sauce alone on the pizza could be so flavourful but everything on this pizza from the tomato sauce, toppings and crust was delicious.

I definitely want to order again to try more of their popular Pizzas.

Delicious pizza ! Pricier than other places but that’s because you get quality pizza made with quality ingredients. Definitely worth the splurge if you like wood fired style pizza although I think pizza nerds uses gas ovens. Either way, it’s now our fav place for this style of pizza. We really.like the Queen Elizabeth, Lyon, and Lisgar.
