Mr. Fez Shawarma (Byward)

Good tasty food, tried shawarma, shawarma poutine, good seating area. Located in Byward market.

Had an amazing experience at Mr. Fez Shawarma in the ByWard Market. From the first bite, it was clear this was a five-star spot. The shawarma was fresh, flavourful, and perfectly prepared. The decorations create a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the person at the counter was welcoming and genuinely kind. Definitely a place I would come back to and recommend to anyone visiting downtown Ottawa.

Went to Mr. Fez tonight with 2 of my friends and we all absolutely loved the shawarma and fries we order. Both the chicken and been shawarma were to die for. I’d say the best in Ottawa. As well, the fries had this really yummy spice on it. The person that served us, didn’t get his name but he had blue eyes and red hair, was exceptional. Super friendly and was able to get our orders quick. I’m happy customer and will be back again for sure!

The Arabic platter is absolutely perfect – so much flavor, very filling and a fair price! 👌🌯

You can’t go wrong with any menu item here, you can taste the quality! Great service in a very nice spacious new location with plenty of seating.

First time eating at Mr. Fez Shawarma and I will most definitely be back again. Place didn’t disappoint and I know why there are so many great reviews. All the flavors were on point. And service was great.

This place is quite dirty inside though, so I’d recommend just getting takeout.
