Metropolitain Brasserie Restaurant

We recently hosted an event (70+ ppl) organized by Sarah and the Metropolitain staff, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, they was incredibly responsive, flexible, and thoughtful in accommodating our requests. It made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free.

The event itself went seamlessly, everything was well organized, and the atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed. Our guests all had great things to say, especially about the quality of the food and the overall experience.

A big thank you as well to the wait and kitchen staff, who played a huge role in making the event such a success. We truly appreciate all the effort that went into making this a memorable occasion.

Exceptional! Burrata was uniquely prepped and perhaps the best we’ve had. My steak was cooked to perfection and tender. My wife’s moule was fantastic with a white wine garlic sauce. Our server, Jonathan, knows his business and was very friendly. Lovely atmosphere. We’re going back today for their buck a shuck oyster special.

We had the pleasure of hosting our engagement dinner here, and everything was wonderful. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and our guests couldn’t stop complimenting both the food and the service. The drinks were excellent too! We wouldn’t hesitate to host another celebration here again.

The guy who appeared to be the manager seemed keen to make a point that we were unwelcome by dropping the empty plates with such a loud crash. My partner found it to be the rudest restaurant experience of her life.
All else: Duck confit was okay. Ravioli d’homard was mostly bland. Waiters were okay. Food was overpriced for the quality. One of the employees couldn’t point me to the toilet.

Great vibe, friendly attentive accommodating staff—and honest about what’s worth ordering (and what might not be to your tastes!) Can host large groups and receptions. Great location! and large outdoor patio. The croque monsieur was really good, but my friend had the mussels and I was jealous. Sweet potato fries were exceptional (and I try them everywhere).

Went there for dinner for the first time last night and it did not disappoint.
The energy from downtown on the warm summer day made it pleasant to sit on the patio in the late afternoon.
Service was very good. Our waiter was very knowledgeable of the different dishes and made very good recommendations.
We all enjoyed our meals. From steak sandwich (with au jus), to ravioli, drinks and dessert everything was delicious.
