Manphong Supermarket

I’m sure the people are nice but this store is a terrible hoard and a disaster waiting to happen, if a fire breaks out in this place, the occupants would be doomed.

This business is a staple to ottawas Chinatown. Always stocked with the ingredients I need for the south east asian cuisines I cook that often can’t be found at the bigger box stores. Will continue to frequent Manphong, just wish they had better hours!

Super nice and welcoming clerk. Very nice to me and the other kids on my field trip. Didn’t know where I was going and she was so understanding 10/10 will gladly go again, totally recommend

This is my go to place if i’m looking for petai/sa-tor/stinkbean as they’re the only ones who carry them.

Their selection of fresh produce might be limited, but it’s definitely cheaper than the other markets around.

Very packed with lots of merchandise. Be sure to check the expiry date on your products. It’s happened more than once that I’ve bought expired products from them.
