My husband and I were trying to decide where to go for a kid-free date night and were so happy to snag a last-minute reservation at Lavender. It was our first time dining here, and it definitely won’t be our last!
We started by sharing the bruschetta, which was incredibly fresh and flavorful. My husband isn’t usually a fan of tomatoes, but even he couldn’t stop talking about how good it was. For our main course, we shared the lavender ravioli—absolutely delicious and the filet mignon. While the filet had great flavor, we did find it a bit tougher than expected for the price, as we’re used to a more melt-in-your-mouth cut. I finished the evening with the crème brûlée, which was amazing. The sugar topping was a bit thicker than I prefer, but it was still a fantastic dessert overall.
What truly made the night special, though, was the exceptional service. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. The hostess was so kind and kept a friendly conversation going while we waited (we arrived early), which set the tone for a wonderful evening. Our server, Emilie, was absolutely outstanding, so sweet, warm, and genuinely personable. She was attentive without being overbearing and made us feel completely taken care of. She even apologized for a slight wait due to a large group, but honestly, the timing felt very reasonable given how busy they were. Her positive attitude and attentiveness really elevated our entire experience.
We will definitely be back, especially because of the amazing service. Emilie truly made our date night feel special!
