Koichi Ramen

Whenever we come to Ottawa, we have to get Ramen! We usually go to Sansotei, but since the downtown location was closed, we decided to try Koichi. We got the Miso Tonkotsu and the Koichi Signature, both mild. Both Ramen were absolutely delicious, and had a really good spice level for being mild. The appetizers were also really good, but the ramen were the stars. We would definitely recommend and come back on our next trip.

I have been here numerous times now and each time, the ramen quality and flavour has been superb. The Takoyaki is excellent as well. Will definitely be back!

Cute little place, very traditional. The food is perfect. They have every dish perfected. The spice levels are real so order accordingly. You might have to share a table with someone or they also have side bar seating. Love that they have a place to hang jackets and coats. The wooden detailing and art work is beautiful.

Been there couple of times. Really enjoyed it there. I don’t know if I was so hungry or the ramen was so damn delicious, I literally couldn’t stop eating, even when I was already so full. Also karaage highly recommend. Affordable prices, bit small place with not very comfortable benches, but it didn’t ruined the experience. I think one of the best ramen in town.

Probably my favourite Ramen shop in the city. They’ve got a lot of great Ramen options and proteins. I really like how they have a lot of chicken options as well and different soup bases. Their chicken karage is really good. I highly recommend dining in to ensure quality of food. Atmosphere is nice as well.
