In’s Kitchen

This place is so incredible! I’ve been here twice now and both times, our food was so delicious and fresh. The ttoekbokki is definitely my favourite of all the ones I’ve tried in Ottawa so far. Their beef bulgogi is my favourite and all the side dishes are also super yummy! To top it all off, their service is amazing.

Clean place, very much more a food counter than a restaurant. I had the bibimbap, and really it was hard to find the beef, it would have easily fit in a shooter glass. As for the 🥚, it was a quarter of a scramble egg, not the whole egg, so quite bland once mix. Staff were super friendly though, but I felt more like having a pricey meal in an airport with an obvious lack of protein.

My wife and I returned for another delicious meal at In’s Kitchen; a first time for dinner. We were warmly welcomed on our arrival and our orders were promptly taken by the friendly waitress. We enjoyed the excellent beef bibimbap and dakgalbi and their accompaniments. The dining room was busy, but our meal was served quickly and was piping hot. We look forward to returning soon.

I absolutely love this place! I discovered it last year, and even though I’m from Gatineau, every time I think of Korean food, I want to come here. While they don’t offer KBBQ, everything I’ve tried on their menu has been superb. So far, I’ve tried the Gamjatang, Bulgogi, Jeyuk, and Don Katsu, and all of them were delicious but my go-to is definitely the Gamjatang, especially on cold winter days.

The prices are very reasonable, and for the quality of the meal, it’s absolutely worth it. I wish I could enjoy food like this every day! I haven’t been to Korea, but with flavors like these, I feel like I’ve had a taste of it.

The service was excellent too! The staff were all so friendly and accommodating. Kudos to the team, and I wish you all continued success!

The space looks nice and the food is good enough. I’ve tried different items such as the Bulgogi, Jeyuk, Gamjatang. My favourite was the Gamjatang but I find that the meat itself lacks salt a bit although the sauce tastes good. I like the side refills. I wasn’t impressed by the service though. It could be improved. This is the second time that I go in and the waitress seemed to be completely avoidant towards me. She didn’t serve my table water as she did for all the other customers. And both times I had to walk up to the counter to order my food, yet she goes to the tables to ask people for their orders. Regardless, I’ll probably come back though.
