Good food, good tunes, good times. After work with friends or starting the night off right before going out till late. Would recommend .

My overall experience was just okay. While the drinks were absolutely phenomenal (the caesar is amazing!), the service was alright, if a bit pushy at times. The biggest disappointment was the food. It’s priced high and is so beyond average. And everything, I mean everything, needed salt. The guac, the ricotta dip, the malfalde pasta, the eggplant parm, everything was screaming for salt.

As for atmosphere, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the music was so loud, like club level loud, that my friend and I were practically screaming at each other across the table.

For good drinks and loud music, I would suggest here. Otherwise, I don’t think I’ll be back.

This place has a nice vibe but the prices are completely absurd for the quality of food being offered. I could easily spend the same amount of money at a restaurant with much better food, and I will next time.

It’s laughable that they’re calling their ice cream “gelato,” and charging $13-15 for desserts that look and taste like they’re straight from the superstore.

I wish I could say better things about this restaurant. Unfortunately, that gap between price and quality carries across the menu. The value simply doesn’t justify the cost, especially in today’s economy.

Visited for Miracle on Elgin Christmas pop up with coworkers. The place was decorated beautifully and the staff were friendly and attentive. Amazing holiday drink menu served in the cutest holiday glasses. Would recommend making a reservation this holiday season!

I don’t usually spend much time on Elgin Street (the crowd can feel a bit younger), but Good Neighbour has completely changed that for me. From the same amazing team behind Standard Love Tavern and Elgin Beer Project, this place hits all the right notes — effortlessly cool, incredibly welcoming, and totally versatile.

We sat on the patio (which is such a vibe — great music and even a bar set up outside!) and shared a few small plates. The shrimp cocktail was fresh and flavorful, and the chips and guac stole the show — the guac was super chunky in the best way, and the chips had a delicious chili powder kick. The kale Caesar salad surprised me — kale salads can be tough, but this one was perfectly done and paired so well with the cozy, nostalgic mozzarella sticks. The gelato is a must-have – super fun with pop rocks sprinkled on!!

Cocktails? Next level. My girlfriend had the spicy margarita (they can also do a non-spicy version), and I went for the white peach Negroni — a summer dream, especially for someone like me who doesn’t usually go for sweet drinks.

The vibe inside is just as good — think retro 50s diner meets elevated modern design. Duong (the owner) said it best: when you’re in NYC, you can always find those perfect little places that fit every mood. That’s exactly what Good Neighbour is — whether you’re stopping by for cocktails, a full meal, or just the vibe. I’ll definitely be back to try the pasta and steak frites. This place really does feel like a good neighbour — welcoming everyone, every time.

Best chicken salad sandwich I’ve had in the city. They did send our mozzarella sticks to the wrong table though, but not a big deal.
