Found this little gem while I was doing my daily walk in the area. I just love Philippians, they are so welcoming and their food is always good!

Finally found a Filipino grocery that also has cooked food. I am not cooking in this heatwave! Checked all my Filipino favourites taho, sago gulaman – the menudo, laing, fried milk fish belly is soooo good; their pancit bihon is also on point. Their dinuguan is almost to perfection looking for puto manapla next time. By then I will have an excuse to stock up on collette’s buko pie and hoard their eng bee tin hopia-fest! For now I am planning my return. Car or Uber that is the question.

If you have been looking for that authentic Filipino taste Divisoria Restobar is the place to go! Their brand has been around Ottawa for years and it had continued to even venture out from a cantina to a full on restaurant with Ala Carte items that they cook fresh and packed with so much flavours.

An all in one mini market. Makes fresh togo food daily that never dissapoints. Truly a gem of a place if you are a pinoy or love the pinoy culture. Nice little table seating section with philippino tv watchable by guests. Very niche and well run establishment. Always greeted with a nice smile and attitude. You’re surely to find something you like from this place and take home with you. Parking in the back.
