We came to Dark Fork on a date night last week and it was an entirely different experience. We dined inside and have never experienced pitch black dining. We chose the 3 course meal and asked that every meal was a surprise dish. This meal choice option was so exciting. The dishes were so flavourful and my boy and i had a fun experience trying to navigate our dining since we are so use to seeing everything around us. All senses were heightened and our waiter Dave was truly helpful and an amazing guide. Really interesting experience, I didn’t even mind not having my phone or an light source whatsoever. 10/10 loved

This was a unique and extremely eye opening experience overall. (When they say dining in the dark they are not joking! )
At first it was overwhelming to completely lose your sense of sight & we left with a new appreciation of it. The food was great, highly recommend the steak. The real highlight is the service you receive- Dave was phenomenal and so kind. If you are looking to experience a dinner that will change your perspective, I recommend eating here

Incredible experience. The dining area truly is pitch black, which heightens your other senses and gives you an appreciation for life without vision. The food was excellent (get the surprise dish!) and our server Saj was friendly, helpful, and a true pleasure to get to know.

Tonight we went to Dark Fork for a post-Christmas outing with friends, and it was our first time, all I can say is you HAVE to experience this.

Dining in complete darkness is something everyone should try at least once. It completely changes how you experience food, conversation, and your surroundings. The flavours, textures, and aromas come alive in a way you just don’t get in a normal restaurant.

What made it even more powerful is that you’re served by staff who are visually impaired and they absolutely crush it. Professional, friendly, and incredibly skilled at navigating a space that most of us would struggle in. It adds a whole new level of respect and perspective to the experience.

The food was delicious, the service was fantastic, and the overall experience was truly unforgettable.

A total win-win:
✔️ A unique and memorable night out
✔️ Incredible food
✔️ Supporting meaningful employment

We’ll definitely be back. 👏

What a truly eye-opening sensory experience! Came in unsure what to expect but grateful it was totally worth the investment! Dave our host was amazing. It was quite scary for one of my kiddos experiencing walking in to a dark room and having to eat in complete darkness but Dave did a great job reassuring. We could only rely on sense of touch and Dave’s voice. It was interesting to experience life through the lens of a blind person and to be grateful for the gift of sight.

The food!!! Oh my goodness, every bite of each plate was amazing. Everyone ate everything. I ate all the veggies because I couldn’t see what I was picking which was quite the experience. I’m sure if I had earlier seen what was on my plate I would not have touched some of the things I ate.

There are lockers to keep valuables like phones and lighted watches which are not allowed in the dining area.

Unfortunately we couldn’t take pictures of the food as light is not allowed in the dining area. Fairly pricey, but totally totally worth every single dollar!
