Daldongnae Korean BBQ – Somerset

It was my first time trying the k-bbq. We ordered 2 thin sliced pork belly servings and a marinated pork shoulder. Both meats were super delicious! It comes with multiple sides and a big bowl of soup. We also had peach flavoured soju, soju cocktail and rice wine. Loved the experience, service was great and it costed us around $145 for 3 people. Would definitely go again 🙂

Nice place with good Korean bbq. Not necessarily the best but good enough to be enjoyable. Service was also good but lacking attention like plates, drinks, serviettes, etc.

Nice place to meet friends. The beef is lovely but unmarinated. Pork is seasoned and also unmarinated. Chicken is marinated but bit bland.

The spicy noodle salad is excellent.

A lot of DIY so be ready for that.

Nice KBQ place. Right now it’s our go to spot. Great for social gatherings. Fun atmosphere and great food. Sides are delicious. Service is a little slow because they are always so busy, but they are very nice and always willing to help. Highly recommend the marinated pork shoulder.

The food, atmosphere, and its service is good at this location. You picked your meats/protein, and the sides are refillable. The three of us ordered seafood pancake, pork belly, short ribs, and bibimbap. The meat was in decent quality (for the price you paid). Their Asahi beer is light, and goes really well with Korean food. I don’t like soju but it’s also a good choice of beverage.

Make sure you make reservations before you go. It can get quite busy!

This place is suitable for a small group of people, it could get too crowded if you have more than 4 given the space of this restaurant. The table is not small by any means, but it doesn’t leave you with too much room when you are having more than 10 different plates in front of you along with a burning stove. Just setting the expectations here. 😉

It is also reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Really cozy place with very nice staff and cool decoration. The meats could be improved, but overall the quality-to-price ratio is very good. The side dishes were delicious. It’s not perfect, but still a very pleasant experience.
