Cumberland Pizza

Cumberland Pizza is a local institution! I’ve been going here for something like ten years, and it’s some of the best pizza in Ottawa. (Maybe the very best!) You can tell real care goes into the food- it’s always fresh and cooked to perfection, and the owner is a wonderfully pleasant and upbeat guy it’s never not a delight to chat with. With the remodeling, it’s well worth dining in: the restaurant is airy and bright, and the company is good. Just a fabulous family-run local business.

Literally the best pizza I’ve had in Ottawa. I’m gonna be real with you, looking at pics on other reviews I wasn’t sure I’d like it but please just trust me on this: it’s SO good. The sauce is perfect (a bit garlic-y which is incredible), great amount of cheese, and the crust is buttery, soft, and crunchy on the outside. Great prices and the people who work there are so friendly every time.

I stopped by recently and had such an amazing experience. The staff were unbelievably kind and greeted us with so much warmth,it honestly made my day!
And the pizza… OMG, SO delicious! Fresh, flavourful, perfectly baked ,one of the best I’ve had in Ottawa. I’m still thinking about it!
Don’t miss their special BAKLAVA either. It was super tasty and the perfect sweet finish.
