Chuck’s Roadhouse Bar & Grill

It was a good experience overall. We went on a Friday night so it was very noisy. I had the sirloin and lobster tail which was good for the price (just wished it had a bit more seasoning). The prices are definitely worth it. I will definitely come back.

We went with a group and really enjoyed our experience. The food was excellent as well as the service. I will definitely be a returning customer.

The rib & wing combo was incredible. The wings were coated in a honey-sriracha glaze perfectly sweet and spicy. With live tennis and football playing in the background, the whole place had such an amazing vibe.

Last night I went out with my soccer friends, and we decided to try Chuck’s Roadhouse in Ottawa for the first time. The restaurant itself is really nice and clean, but it definitely gets loud and very busy at night, so it has more of a lively, energetic vibe than a quiet sit-down spot.
We started off with a variety of appetizers to share—chicken wings, onion rings, steak bites, and nachos. The wings stood out right away; they were honestly some of the best I’ve had in a while—crispy, saucy, and packed with flavor. The onion rings and nachos were solid too, great for sharing. The only disappointment was the steak bites. The first batch came out chewy, but our waiter—who I believe was from Nepal—handled it so professionally. He immediately replaced them with a fresh batch, but unfortunately, the second try was still tough and chewy. Without hesitation, he took them off the bill, which I really appreciated.
After the appetizers, we tried some mains, including the steak sizzlers, burgers, and surf & turf. Everything came out hot and well-prepared, and the quality for the price was excellent. The surf & turf was especially satisfying, and the burgers were juicy and cooked just right.
A big highlight of the night was definitely our waiter. I wish I remembered his name, but I do remember he said he was from Nepal. He was extremely professional, attentive, and quick despite how busy the restaurant was. His service truly elevated our experience.
Overall, I really enjoyed my first visit to Chuck’s Roadhouse. It’s not the place if you’re looking for quiet dining, but if you want good food, a lively atmosphere, and great service, this spot delivers. I’ll definitely be coming back—especially for the wings!

Firstly Angelina was our server and they were amazing at answering all of our questions about the menu as well as amazing recommendations for our food selection! Our drinks were never empty and she was the reason our experience was delightful despite the hot and uncomfortable atmosphere inside the restaurant.

We ordered a couple of apps, the spinach dip was delicious wish there were more lol. The nachos were mediocre, we had alot of cracked chips (almost the the bottom of the bag) and the nachos were dry, it may have needed a bit more cheese to cover all the edges.

Our mains were all delicious, not a single bad thing to say! The onion rings are amazing, the mash with gravy was delicious and personally my steak was cooked medium rare all around. The Philly cheesesteak was delicious but you have to eat it quite quickly otherwise the bread gets super soggy.

I’ll definitely be back but I’ll wait for cooler days because it was uncomfortably hot inside the restaurant, almost as if there was no air circulating at all. Not pleasant. So if you plan to go, dress accordingly! It also gets loud when busy, heads up for people who don’t like loud atmospheres.

I recommend the porterhouse steak, T-Bone and Ribeye. They were all fantastic! We did try some of the deserts, they were both delicious!

Most people don’t know but they do charge a 3% Honest to goodness fee.. so don’t be surprised. It’s on their website and on the menu but they don’t come out and tell you about it.

Hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Ottawa! The service at Chucks Roadhouse was top-notch – our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu.

The food was incredible – I had the burgers and they were cooked to perfection. The portions were generous and the prices were very reasonable. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with a great vibe.

Highly recommend Chucks Roadhouse for anyone looking for a delicious meal in a relaxed setting. We’ll definitely be back!
