Cabotto’s

It is Italian cuisine at its finest. No wonder Cabotto’s lasted over 50 years in Ottawa. Authentic Italian cooking that makes your tastebuds applaud. Kudos to Nora, her dear hubby, Sir Tony and the entire team for a wonder night. Team 20YS was deeply honoured. Thank you.

Went here for the first time with my SO tonight for a 6:30 dinner. Our waiter Travis was super friendly and attentive, and the speed of the food coming out was good, maybe a touch fast. The meatballs and roasted garlic soup as appetizers were good, my lobster ravioli was delicious, and my date’s Agnolotti Rose was great as well. The caramel cheesecake was good, and the homemade tiramisu was fantastic. All the staff were super kind, adding to the lovely atmosphere and decor of the old building. Hopefully will be back in the near future, would love to try more things!

We had a lovely evening at Cabotto’s, largely thanks to the beautiful venue and the top-notch service from the staff, who were attentive. The food was definitely good quality, though I found the meal to be a little bit salty for my liking, which overshadowed the flavors a touch. One thing to be aware of is that their machine calculates the suggested tip on the total after tax, so keep that in mind when you’re closing out the bill. Overall, it’s a nice spot with a great atmosphere, just a few small details to look out for!

A favourite since it opened! Tha food is of amazing quality, served piping hot. The staff are courteous, efficient and friendly. A big Thanks to our regular server Antonio! Highly recommend. The ambiance is wonderful, with the century old features and architecture.

I had my rehearsal dinner here a few weeks ago. Everything went exactly as planned. Cabottos was extremely organized and easy to coordinate with. From choosing our own menu to the room we got and being able to come earlier to decorate our room, it was perfect. The food was amazing and served on time. Our server was great and easy to work with as well. We will definitely be coming back!

I first visited Cabotto’s about 20 years ago for a friend’s birthday and ordered their veal. I’ve been thinking about that meal ever since—veal has never tasted better anywhere else. So for my husband’s birthday this year, we returned to Cabotto’s, and the experience was just as incredible as I remembered.

Our waitress, Deb, was so warm and welcoming. She interacted with our kids in such a genuine way that it felt like we were dining with family. Even another server in our section went out of his way to make us feel at home, which really added to the experience.

The food was absolutely exquisite—and that’s coming from someone who doesn’t usually consider themselves a big fan of Italian cuisine. Every dish was flavorful, tender, and cooked to perfection. The drinks were spot-on, and the desserts were the perfect sweet ending to a memorable evening.

We’ll definitely be back!
