Britannia Coffeehouse​

The scones at this place are surely the best scones in all of Ottawa. Their subtle crumble and buttery flavour are beyond compare. This new mango saffron scone is absolutely to die for. Saffron pairs exquisitely with the light inner layer of sweet cream cheese. Absolutely delightful.

Lovely locally owned coffee shop. I get a chai latte and if they have them, try the scone with strawberry and drizzled icing, really delicious

I had a cappuccino with a cinnamon roll, absolutely delicious! The coffee was perfectly balanced and the pastry warm, soft, and flavorful. Such a cozy spot, perfect for a little treat. Highly recommend!

Britannia Coffeehouse is my go-to spot after a wild, windy walk by the lake. There’s nothing better than stepping into the cozy warmth, grabbing a rich coffee, and just unwinding.

I’ve met friends here plenty of times—it’s that kind of place. The scones are always fresh, the coffee smooth, and the whole vibe just feels easy and welcoming. Whether we’re catching up, warming up, or just enjoying the quiet, it never disappoints.

Locals love it for a reason. It’s got heart, great service, and that perfect mix of comfort and community. Definitely worth a stop!

We came across this small but pleasant coffee shop by accident. However, it was a good find due to the quality of the coffee and food. The coffee is good, as is the food. We ordered 2 grilled sandwiches: they were simple but flavourful. The scones are yum, too.
The outdoor seating allows you to see the world go by. Lots of cyclists, walkers, and joggers going to the park and the waterfront.
They have a nice ice cream store connected to them. It’s definitely worth a visit.
