Biryani Plus

Biryani Plus is a great place if you want to buy takeaway food. They don’t have dine-in, but the ordering process is easy and quick. The biryani is very delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The portion size is good, and the price is reasonable.
The staff are polite and the service is fast. It’s a perfect place when you want to pick up tasty biryani to take home.

Really amazing food, mostly the chicken biryani and the mutton biryani. I love this place I recommend it to everyone. One thing I really liked about Biryani Plus was that they had a type of dish called Qabuli Pulao. Why i liked it was because my wife didnt like spicy stuff and the owner told her to try Qabuli Pulao because it was a type of rice with no spice and when my wife tried it, it was amazing. Now she goes to buy food there from now on

Saw some mixed reviews about this new establishment that had opened up near our home. We were customers of the previous “Amma’s Biryani” and were intrigued to try out its successor.

Walked in to a pleasant lady at the counter, she was helpful in helping take our orders and had a positive attitude. As for the food itself, I believe we waited around 12 minutes. I was intrigued to see the portion sizes as I had heard the meat was quite scarce. To my delight, this was not at all the case. The chicken biryani had hefty chunks of breast and thigh, around 150 grams by my count, generous by most metrics.

As for the taste, it’s everything you’d want in a hallmark biryani, great spice, soft rice that still had texture, and an amazing yogurt chutney that helped cool down the dish.

Overall, I will definitely be back, as they have many menu options I would like to try, especially the “Kabuli Pulao”, which seems to be a traditional Afghan rice dish by my research.

I went there today expecting Amma’s Biryani but found that it is now Biryani Plus. I ordered a goat biryani to go, as I have done for years. Unfortunately I was totally disappointed. While the taste is fine, there was only a few small bits of meat, and a huge piece of potato. I think calling it potato biryani would have been just as appropriate. For the price that they charged, I would not recommend this new establishment, especially if you have been a regular with Amma’s.
