Pretty cool place with unique design and nice atmosphere. Beers are good and food menu is interesting. Service was fairly quick on a weekend night

Stumbled upon this place walking around. Wings were crunchy. Mussels frites was good. Came here at 6pm and place was quiet. It picked up a lot at 7pm. Not sure if ppl here just eat dinner later.

Have been here twice in the last two weeks. Service is pretty good. Great atmosphere, as it is tucked away in a courtyard. The Hot Chicken Sandwich ($22) is decently priced but the chicken I had was way too chewy to enjoy properly.

Absolutely LOVE this place. Tucked away in downtown Ottawa, this is a must go to restaurant and tap house. The atmosphere has a quaint European feel. The of style stone walls and cobblestone ground is amazing. The drinks were cold and refreshing and the limited food that we tried was incredible! This is definitely a place to check out and if you happen to bypass it, turn around and go back. The only regrets you’ll have is if you don’t check out this Ottawa gem!!

Excellent lunch today with three older sisters. First time to this “Beyond the Pale” location and such a fabulous space. Drake took such great care to explain menu, gave us a tour of the upstairs space and was professional and personable. Food was really good as was the Pinot Gris. Will come back over and over again and look forward to enjoying their great new patio.
