A Lebanese Gem. Im so thankful to have found this place. Hands down the BEST ZAARTA in Canada!!!! This bakery reminds me of home. Lebnan🥰

I deteste meat manakeesh. Never liked them my whole life. Came in here for my routine cheese and zaatar. Till one of the bakers suggested their meat saying this is what they are known for and omg. I was extremely skeptical till I tried it. It was the kind of manakeesh that you lick your finger afterwards hoping you left a piece in the bag to finish off. I have tried manakeesh in lots of places this is the only place that got their meat done right. Highly recommend.

Too much oil to the point I couldn’t eat it in the car and the meat a little bit too salty. I was in the area and wanted to get a meat pie. Very disappointed tbh

Unfortunately my pie order on uber eats was very stale and burnt, my uber driver took 10 minutes to get me my food so it was definitely not a uber’s fault, I just feel that maybe since it was a delivery order, quality check was lacking.

There was a time when Aladdin was one of the best bakeries around in overbrook almost 2-3 years ago, but now I feel they’ve lost that charm. I’ve been their customer since the past 4 years and their pies used to be delicious with a good quantity of meat to bread ratio. but now I feel like I’m just buying bread with tomato sauce in it and sprinkling meat on top. I stopped going to that place couple of months ago because of repeated bad orders and I tried again after six months, thinking maybe they improved but unfortunately it has worsened. Really disappointed that they went from the best bakery to the worst bakery in town.
