My wife and I remarked to the owner about how absolutely professional the staff are. I was impressed with the organization of merchandise and how the staff were genuinely interested in helping us find what we wanted.

July 24 I was in the store. The cashier was very rude I said hi she didn’t even say hi back. After I paid i said thank you and she just ignored me. Someone should teach her the customer service before she be at the cash. Very disappointed and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The store was good, it had all the things I wanted and the price was decent. Although the hair salon in there is what reduced the stars I’m giving. I came there for a wash and blow dry and let me tell you that was one of the worst wash and blow dry ever. The lady that helped take down my cornrows was the most aggressive person ever. I didn’t get to learn her name, but she was plus sized and she looked like the youngest one amongst them. She kept pulling my hair and pushing my scalp to the point that someone had to tell her that she was too aggressive. She kept grabbing and pulling my head and I know my hair is natural but that was the reason I went to them because I thought they could take care of it, boy was I wrong. After she was done with her aggressiveness and it was time for her to wash my hair. She kept saying how she doesn’t want to touch anything because of my dandruffs. She wouldn’t stop talking about them and it honestly made me feel some type of way. I was charged $20 for taking down my 6 cornrows and then $45 plus tax for the wash and blow dry. I will give her credits for thoroughly washing and moisturizing my scalp, but I will NEVER go back there for anything ever again.

Was there for all of 30 seconds but the owner lady (I assumed) acknowledged us right away upon entering…. This is not usually common practice in this type of store…IYKYK…. Also she was very very helpful. It seems to carry a lot of exotic stuff but we were hoping to find a specific ingredient and brand and sadly it wasn’t there but many other similar items in different brands were available.

No doubt the best place in Ottawa to get all your hard to find ingredients and supplies. Large supply of products and the staff is kind and super friendly. Kofi stayed open past closing until I arrived in order to pick up some items. If you need some thing that they do not have you can asked to order it. Very accommodating and always pleasant.
