African BBQ House

Tonight was mine and my husband’s first time ordering from here and we are very happy we did.
My mouth still has a slight burn as I am writing this.
We each had the chicken skewers, I had the mild flavor which was quite nice and my husband had African spice which packed a bit of a punch.
The Jolof rice was very tasty but also very spicy.
The plantains were cooked beautifully they had nice flavor and weren’t overly starchy.
We are very happy we finally ordered from here and we will continue to do so.

The chicken was perfectly grilled—juicy, flavorful, and with that authentic charcoal taste. The sides complemented the meal perfectly, and everything was cooked to perfection. It’s a true crowd-pleaser and definitely worth a try. Highly recommend!

The OG location on Tompkins didn’t disappoint. Usually go to Dalhousie but was in the neighbourhood and figured I should pay my respects and glad I did. Dinner was 🔥 and absolutely delicious.

Wanted to eat only quarter chicken, ended up eating half in one sitting. It is that GOOD! Beautifully cooked and you can taste the delicious seasoning all the way through.

The service is super polite and they all seem to be such nice people! Great vibe!

I would recommend to do take out as the place is pretty hot for a dine in. Just take it home and enjoy the deliciousness in comfort 🙂
