Restaurant Alpina

This was great! Great food, community and the waitresses are amazing. I was met with kindness and love from darcy and palo, listening and to orders and helping me with my decisions. 2 of the best waitresses ive ever met. Food came quick thanks to their assistance. If i was the boss! They would be getting a raise.

This restaurant is a gem. If you have ever wondered what vintage restaurants were like, this is it. They don’t serve tiny portions faux or pretentious food. This place is authentic as they come, even though it is tucked into the Gatineau Hills away from any major city. The service is fabulous. The ambiance is homey and country-charm. The portions fill a working man and the food is quality and generous servings. The price is right. When you order a breakfast with 2 eggs, you get three. The plate is piled high. The home fry potatoes are very unique and delicious. The menu is fairly extensive with good, home-cooked entrees. And the best part is that the price is right!

This is one of my favourite restaurants to get breakfast. I’m a fan of their eggs Benedict but other items on the menu are amazing as well. Service is always good and the place is clean and well maintained.

A great restaurant to visit with family. The food was excellent—especially the potatoes, which were unique and tasted like potato chips. Really delicious! The service was amazing, with friendly staff all smiles. It gave us a wonderful start to the day.

Had a fantastic Sunday brunch here. The service is quick and friendly, they are fully bilingual in English and French, and the food was amazing! One of the best Benedicts I’ve ever had! Would love to come back and try their other meals. It’s a busy place so be prepared to wait a bit on the weekends during peak hours but the wait is worth it.
