Cafe Aylmer

This is by far my wife and I’s favorite breakfast restaurant in Aylmer! The food tastes great, the prices are quite low & the staff is friendly.

A solid diner experience. Food was good, hot and good portions. Service was impeccable, the server was very kind and helpful. Something went a tiny bit wrong with my order and she came and fixed it before I even noticed. Don’t expect anything fancy inside, but that’s what I’m usually looking for in this kind of place.

Excellent homemade food! The potatoes are delicious, the bacon is crispy and flavorful, and the eggs are cooked perfectly. The coffee is refilled as soon as you finish it. I’ll definitely come again — it reminds me of the good old days!

Went there for breakfast, was ok, service was fine but for the same price range there are better options nearby.

Also, fries are from frozen potatoes and not freshly cut.

The Benedict eggs were a bit overcooked as you can judge by the photos.

I come to Aylmer to visit a friend who moved here for work (government jobs FTW). This is a great local diner with affordable, great breakfasts. I always favour non-chain restaurants with a diner feel. The most non-assuming restaurants are often the best. This is a great place. The service was great. The coffee was good. Exactly what I wanted from a diner breakfast experience.
