Bistro L’Autre Oeil

My partner and I decided to try this place out for our going out date and it’s been on my list of restaurants to try and honestly it was such a great experience and one of my new favorite spots to dine-in.

There are a few things I think could be better but it didn’t affect my opinion that Bistro L’autre Oeil is a must try!!!

I got the wings (Kao sauce flavor) and wow so flavorful, spicy, but also thick and not very sticky which I like. The wings were small I personally like buffalo style (size not flavor) wings, despite their size they’re quite meaty and juicy (not overcooked at all) DELICIOUS 8/10!!!

My partner got the Nashville wrap (no blue cheese sauce) and it was so good and nice size too with lots of delicious hand cut fries and coleslaw 10/10 Delicious!!

We also got the parmesan truffle fries as an appetizer and omg they were so good, I’m not usually a fan of the truffle flavor but somehow the chef/cook made it so delicious and mild which I love, personally I think more parmesan could be added but other than that incredible!! 10/10

We didn’t get any alcoholic beverages, nor any non-alcoholic beverages or sodas but wow they have incredible selections lots to choose from and probably delicious.

The atmosphere was good it was quiet but did get a little loud later as more people arrived, a little bit small but good and I love the uniqueness of this restaurant as it’s in a house I’ve never seen anything like this before definitely unique and special and beautiful decor, the table we sat at was wobbly but once we got food it stabilized. Super friendly staff and bilingual too and everything was so fresh and handmade it’s just beautiful!!💜

This was my first time visiting this established in its new location. It was a long time coming but it was well worth the wait. It’s a little different from the old location but it’s just as nice. The service was excellent as was my Zombie cocktail 💀 Hopefully it won’t be years before I return. I would love to try their food next time. 👍😎

Superbe place. They have a crazy beer selection. The service is the best and the wings are to die for. If you like beer and never went to this place, what are you waiting for? GO GO GO

Amazing food, stellar, friendly service and superb beer selections. Especially good Quebec beers, with plenty of other choices. The Pop Curds ( deep fried curds) and marinara might be the best in Ottawa-Gatineau region. Veggie burger and fries are So Tasty.

Nice pub, great place to grab a drink or get some food around Gatineau/Aylmer! They have a great selection of drinks, especially for beer lovers. You can also get pretty good standard pub food that you can’t go wrong with, from nachos, chicken wings, poutine to burgers. The place has a great atmosphere, a good place to have some good vibes with friends on a nice summer evening!
