Great service and fantastic food. With a comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff.

We came on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch and had a great time.

The happy hour wings were fantastic, as was the beer batter fish and chips. But the showstopper was the Yorkshire bowl with braised short ribs, neeps and tatties. Just like back home Sunday dinners… and the gravy…. outstanding.

It took a while, but we finally found our new neighborhood pub!

Unfortunetly shrinkflation is real. The Glen used to have a phenomenal fish and chips. Now the fish has shrunk, not as good, and the fries are smaller portioned. Its too bad as this was a favorite on the menu to order. I hope this trend reverses.

Thank you for the detailed reply. I respect your 38-year legacy and take your word on the stated portion sizes. Perhaps my memory of previous visits set an unfair benchmark. That said, perception matters in hospitality — if multiple customers felt portions were *too large* and others, like myself, feel they’ve shrunk, it may be worth examining consistency between visits and locations. I appreciate the offer to make it right on a future visit and may well take you up on that.

It has the best beer battered fish & chips in town. Everyone in my party said the same everytime we dine in this restaurant. Katie is very attentive and pleasant, making our meal even more enjoyable! We’ll come back again soon.

Great spot to eat with a variety of dishes. Some from Scottish origins others to more in house style cuisine. Staff are friendly and well organized. A pleasure to eat chill and catch the latest football or rugby game. Even a good puck on the ice. The meat pie is spot on.

Had the Scottish egg. A unique combination of boiled egg wrapped in sausage in a bun. The Tomato chutney stole the show there. The beer battered fish was the best I’ve ever had. I’d give that 6 stars if I could! The fries were cooked to absolute perfection but not particularly tasty. Perplexing! The bangers and mash were quite good even though they sound unappealing. Surprise! The Glen burger was good with a unique flavour which I couldn’t pinpoint. Potion sizes were good. Service was excellent! It had a great upscale pub atmosphere. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. Loads of parking. Highly recommend! Get the Beer Battered Fish!!!🎣 Did I mention the fish was stellar? Had the apocalypse IPA which was very soft for an an IPA 🍻👍
