I LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH IT HAS THE BEST SNACKSSS also I have so many memories from summer when I go here ALSO I have a figure from here and an anime sticker omg omg its so sososososoooooo peak I love it so much its just the best and its like one of the only places to get cool stuff in Ottawa aside from conventions and a few stores at the malls so overall its just the best 🙂

Some of the best, most comprehensive selection of Japanese food in Ottawa. Reasonable prices and a good selection that goes beyond mainstream snacks. The staff are great as well.

Please stop selling items over multiple years old… Just buy new stock and then people may actually buy it. I still shop here occasionally since there’s not really any other Japanese store with similar selection, OK mart doesn’t quite have as much, but I am careful to avoid their expired products. I’m sad a cola I wanted to buy is expired since 2023… yet it’s still being sold…

Tons of people dislike this, and have commented about it here. I understand selling things that are barely expired, it’s still safe then, but multiple years is far too much. It’s not ok even if it’s sale.

We visited from NY to seek Japanese snacks. My kids and I was super excited When we saw a lot of Japanese products in this store! We were enjoyed a lot as well.
I believe he was Owner? That Gentleman was so friendly and very kind as well.
We really hope we can go back there soon.

Just a friendly tip: while exploring the wide range of goodies, remember to take a peek at the expiration dates. We noticed that most items we picked up had a shelf life of a few months or until the beginning of 2024. Happy snacking! 🍜 ☕️🍬
