Big shout out to Emily at the Customer Service Desk today. She was amazing at quickly solving a complex issue with a FlashFood order. Thanks Emily, you are the best!

Impressed with new security and in store hires. For years now this was a quick in and out stop for city locals like myself. The atmosphere was cold, uninviting… we opted for Quickie for the basics like bread, milk and mr.noodles (gf is obsessed) to avoid it here. The security guards are becoming familiar faces and on top of ensuring safe & secure environments are always welcoming and say hello and goodbye and both the first and last faces we see. Bakery lady was extra kind to my gf who just received sad news. She excitedly offered her a piece of cake at 1/2 price to cheer her up because it was end day.

Loblaws Rideau Street has everything you’d expect from a typical Loblaws—good selection, clean aisles, and a reliable variety of fresh produce and everyday essentials. What really sets this location apart, though, is the indoor parking. It makes a huge difference, especially during Ottawa’s winter months or on rainy days. Being able to park inside, grab what I need, and head out without dealing with the weather adds a level of convenience that most grocery stores in the area don’t offer.

Overall, it’s a solid, dependable store with the bonus of sheltered parking, which makes the shopping experience noticeably more comfortable.

Good selection of products and sales clearly displayed. Wide checkout lanes and cashiers were on hand to get lines moving quickly. I had to interact with customer service for rewards redemption and found the experience lacking.

Open late, good food, friendly staff, meals to go.
