The pelicana chicken was the best and most authentic korean chicken we’ve ever had!

We visited OK Mart in Ottawa while passing through to Pelicana Chicken, which is conveniently located right inside the supermarket. We were immediately impressed by the modern feel of the market and the overall cleanliness of the store. The produce sections were well-stocked and exceptionally fresh.

We picked up some sushi, a poke bowl, and several rice balls (飯團), all of which were high quality and tasty. As a family traveling with children, we were especially thankful that the washrooms were maintained so well—they were extremely clean and accessible.

Thank you to the staff for their hard work in providing such a modernized Asian market experience. It made our stop in the city much easier and more enjoyable!

My new favourite store. I’ve been seeing a lot of Korean recipes online for dishes that look delicious. Did a quick search to find markets in the city and this one is really close to home.

I can see quite a few future visits to this store for ingredients. As I toured the aisles I already saw several of the items I would need.

Lady at the cash was also super nice. Always helpful when you’re in a “new to you” cultural market and have questions.

The best mart in Ottawa.This Korean market consistently delivers an outstanding shopping experience. The produce and meat are always fresh, the product selection is extensive, and I can find every Korean ingredient I need in one place. The staff are friendly, responsive, and professional, and the store is always clean and well organized, making each visit comfortable. Prices are reasonable, and the frequent sales make it even better value. It’s truly the best Korean market I can rely on every time.

OK Mart’s gimbap party tray is my go-to for potlucks! I can order them and set the time for pick up which is very convenient. The rolls are super fresh, delicious, and always a crowd favorite. Every time I bring them, people ask me where they’re from – it never fails.
