Ottawa Bike Cafe

Visited the Ottawa Bike Cafe and Retro Rides with my family after hearing about it at a special guest presentation from the owner in my University lecture, and the place did not disappoint. I had a Flat White and a Chocolate hazelnut cookie, both of which were great. Food and drinks are very well priced and affordable, the atmosphere is chill and relaxed, and the employees are friendly and welcoming. We even received some free donuts as they were closing and had not sold them during the day! Highly recommend to anyone in the downtown area looking to find their new go-to cafe!

I love this cafe! Super cute inside and staff is very friendly every time I go. Went with my boyfriend and they put the wrong milk in my drink, I asked them which milk they put in and they indeed made a small mistake. But, they were super nice about it, made it again with the right milk and even gave us a free cookie for the mistake. Also love that it’s local, definitely worth trying it!

I have only been to this location for the food and drink, but I will be returning for servicing on my bikes.
The pastries we got were fantastic. A Suzy Q donut and a spinach spiral.
We also got a good cappuccino and a pretty good chai latte. The chai latte was somewhat unique. Not very sweet, fairly milky, and a bit earthy. The spices are nice. The cappuccino was well made.
The cafe itself is a cute storefront on the inside, with some art and other things to appreciate. Seating is sort of limited, but they do have seating.

Visited during today’s Winterlude walk and stopped in for a break after being drawn in by the ice sculpture of a bicycle at the front door — a really fun touch for the festival. Ordered a latte and a croissant, both enjoyable and just right for a mid‑day pause. The café’s concept is quite special, combining a real bicycle‑service space with a cozy coffee shop atmosphere. You can actually see the bike‑shop floor integrated into the design, which gives the place a unique character. A good combination of creativity and comfort, and a memorable stop during Winterlude.

I got the seasonal drink – butterscotch latte, it was really good. The vibe of the cafe is amazing, but the prices are a little high. I’d come again to support a family business though 🙂

It is our favorite stop for our biking days.
Delicious salads, very good sandwiches, the orange chocolate cookies!, the drinks!!!

My son enjoys our biking break in this cafe..
I took my niece and nephew from Edmonton this summer- they also wanted to go again. – I took them same cafe 3 times.

We enjoy every time we go there! – staff is super nice!
