We tried this restaurant for the first time and the food was really good. We ordered a whole chicken, goat, pork, and grilled tilapia, with jollof rice and plantain on the side. The flavors really hit, and the grilled tilapia was my favorite, so tasty!

The whole family enjoyed everything. I’d recommend ordering ahead since there was a bit of a wait, but given how fresh the food tasted, it totally makes sense.

We got some food from too good to go to try it and it’s a real hole in the wall so we never saw it before but the food is the best meat we have had in Ottawa. It tastes phenomenal and the Angie was very nice. We are making it our new to go place.

I visited yesterday, and it was absolutely amazing! I tried almost everything on the menu, and honestly, I would rate it 100% for taste. The goat meat, in particular, was incredible—the best I’ve ever had in my life.

I was there yesterday and it was amazing . I had a taste of 95% of the menu and the rating I would give it is 100% tasty . The goat meat is the best goat meat I’ve tasted in my life. I will definitely be coming back with more and more people. Highly recommended👋👋
