Eggstatic Ottawa

This is hands down the best breakfast spot in Ottawa. The atmosphere is super pretty and cozy. All menu items are 100% halal and everything we tried was delicious. The menu itself has an amazing variety of options, so whether you are on a keto diet or have a sweet tooth, there’s something for everyone here. The service was also superb.

My advice would be to call to reserve, and arrive a little early to find parking (that was the most chaotic part). We ordered hummus with meat, omelettes, French toast, chicken waffles, meat pie, pita breads, orange pekoe tea, sahleb and a baclava latte. Prices per dish start at about 25$ and go to about 33$ (give or take). All of the staff was great, sometimes they get a little busy (totally understandable – it’s always busy there) but once you flag them down they are super helpful. I would definitely recommend!

This will be a regular breakfast/brunch spot for our family!

I came here with my friend for brunch and the place was pretty busy, thankfully we reserved a spot ahead of time. The food options are really interesting, and I got a Sahlab drink which was warm and sweet, and limited to the winter. For my meal I got the Cilbar and Spicy Potato’s and it was great! Very filling, so I had to bring some home. The staff were friendly and the I was able to chat with my friend clearly. Personally I did find the drinks to be a bit pricey but I think the food was delicious and worth it!

Amazing experience of Breakfast/Brunch!
Tasty, spicy, tangy, protein packed and creamy beverages, yes it is mouth watering and eye pleasing food palate! Also offer extra bread if you need, also provided starter with signature Zatar (spice mix), olive oil and crackers. Ordered Turkish coffee and Baklava latte, honestly it was okay, normal beverage, except its name depicts the temptation, or might be I am not a fan of lot of cinnamon in my beverage! Quite cold nearby the entrance tables, also need to be book a table in advance, popular cafe for brunch and breakfast in this area! Overall, quite good experience of dining and having an amazing service!

The place is amazing for brunch, we reached at 8:30 and by 9, all the tables were packed. The service is good, food is amazing. Fusion of middle eastern food and english brunch is awesome. Everything is tasty and good quality. We tried Mazza plate, the pomegranate one was soooo good, hummus was also good but it has little more whole chickpea which could have been less. The turkey’s coffee was strong but I feel they use too much cinnamon powder to it which should be only for garnish and not too much.

We went there as a family of 5 the first weekend after their grand opening. Bets thing is that you can reserve ahead of time online . We are thrilled to have this Halal chain come to Ottawa. The place is spacious and welcoming, lots of variety on the menu, staff were super nice. I ordered the fried halloumi Benedict it came missing some ingredients (olives and zatar) the manager was very kind she quickly addressed it and waived this dish from our bill. We had a pleasant experience and would definitely come back

My friends and I love this restaurant so much ！The dishes are great. YEGANEH is a good waitress, she is hard working and introduced herself before serving us. I noticed her answering questions about the ingredients for other tables, and she was very helpful. When we asked for her recommendations, she was more than happy to share them with us. She is truly the best waitress I’ve encountered in Ottawa. This is actually my first time ever leaving a review for a restaurant.
