Schoolhouse Pizza

It was my first time visiting this pizzeria, and it was recommended to me by friends. I honestly didn’t expect it to be this good!

I was absolutely amazed by the taste, the smell, and the presentation of the pizza. It looked so delicious that I couldn’t wait to try it.

With every bite, the pizza revealed new flavors — everything was perfectly balanced and incredibly tasty. You can really tell that it’s made with care.

Definitely one of the best pizzas I’ve had. I will be coming back for sure!

We ordered the Made in Brooklyn pizza and it did not disappoint. The crust was perfectly done, the combination of toppings all worked so well together, and the flavor was amazing in every bite. You can really taste the quality. Definitely one of the best pizzas I’ve had, we’ll absolutely be ordering it again!

This Pizza is 🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽, yall Gotta try this location before concluding who got the Best 🍕in Ottawa. Cuz that thin crust. Ayaya. If your looking for a real NY pizza, not that known OTT drippy style floppy pizza all over town. This one hits the spot!

Been to this location twice so far and can say that Schoolhouse holds up to its reputation and has become my favourite pizza place in Ottawa! The crust is perfectly thin and crispy. Highly recommend trying the mushroom pie and Mediterranean garden. Note that pizzas only come in one size (18”) but they do also sell individual slices.

Straight outta Brooklyn! What a fun night at Schoolhouse Pizza in New Edinburgh! We had the King of Calabria pie and it couldn’t have been better. The garlic dip was a winner as well.

Pro tip: Order some gelato for dessert, what a perfect way to end the night!

There seem to be a whole host of new pizza places around Ottawa these days. Schoolhouse is one of the contenders for sure for better than your average pizza. My son and I split the Brooklyn which was quite good. It does have a great crust and the toppings were tasty. I don’t know if either reviewers have actually been to New York, but I would say it’s pretty close to some of the New York slice places. Having said that, there were no slices on a Friday night but we did come for a full pie. The wait was ludicrous at over an hour and a half on a Friday night. And I’m sure it’s the busiest night of the week and everything, but still this is pizza. The service person he did follow up with us was very friendly and offered us some complimentary dips to make up for the wait. They have a very decent beer selection. Atmosphere inside is plain share tables but quite nice. Others who complained about the atmosphere clearly have not been to a New York pie shop as there’s zero atmosphere at any of those. That’s part of the charm. If you like good pizza I’d say give it a try. Just be ready. Pies cost about 30 bucks and you will have to wait.
