Smash Daddy – ByWard Market

Another visit and I’m never disappointed, I’m addicted to the taste of this delicious burger and crunchy fries. Smash daddy perfects what they make .the only thing I’m going to complain about is I’m eating way more than usual of their food.

Great burgers, fries tastes great.
Having couple items to be offered on the menu tells you that they specialise in one thing and they are good at it. Best smash burgers I had in Ottawa.
Gets 5 star for service and 5 stars for the atmosphere. I think I’m addicted to this burger. And can’t get enough of it:)

I really appreciated the customer service at Smash Daddy. The burger was really good, and both my friends and I genuinely enjoyed everything we ordered. I was visiting from Newfoundland, so it was a great spot to try while in Ottawa. I’d absolutely love to come back and have it again next time I’m in the city!

We needed to grab a quick bite and had a craving for a burger. This totally fit the bill. Staff were very friendly and service was great. Burgers are homemade and the brioche bun was a nice touch. We shared a side of fries which were real fresh cut fries(not frozen) and their house sauce for the fries was very flavorful. If you understand that this is a very small business with a simple menu you should walk away satisfied. Great value and would definitely come back. Note that there was no credit card option only cash or debit which was not a big deal for us but might make a difference for someone else.

Had a very high expectation for this place , I’ve heard a lot of good things about it. Service was not good , the employee at the cash “didint want to be there“ , place is extremely dirty , walls , stairs , counter and even behind the counter , everything is piled up on top of card board boxes . We ordered a wagyu burger and the regular one and honestly it was good but couldn’t tell the difference between a regular one. Over priced for what you’re getting . Probably
Wouldn’t be back .

I was told there were amazing burgers. I came, I saw and I feasted on an amazing burger. Smash daddy 2x pattys. Naked fries with the sauce. Only thing it will leave you wishing for is that you had more space in your stomach for more.

10/10 would recommend to support a family owned business who makes delicious food !

Tried the Wagyu Daddy, but honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it. The flavor was great, but the portion is way too small for the $24 price tag — I was definitely expecting something more substantial. If you’re going to Smash Daddy, I’d say stick with the regular Smash Daddy burger. I got one for my young daughter, and she actually finished the whole thing by herself — something that’s never happened with any other burger before.
